Artifact 1Technology Committee This year I started and lead Van Bokkelen Elementary's first technology committee. Through our meetings we discussed our schools current technologies and discussed and evaluated current research to support the schools technologies as well as newer technologies. Artifact 2First Agenda Meeting Minutes In our first meeting we created our vision for the school and discussed issues such as resources in the building. Below are the meeting minutes. These minutes were sent to my principal and he responded. One issue was of the use of special education's laptops at which was resolved so that any teacher could sign out the laptops to use.

Artifact 1Engage Using Technology Video/Discussion During my first technology professional development and the first technology committee I shared these videos to demonstrate the history of technology and how technology has changed education. Through this videos we were able to discuss why technology is important for our digital learners as well as other issues that can come from our digital world. After viewing and discussing the videos with the technology committee we discussed a vision we have for Van Bokkelen 2014. Using Wordlewe discussed the change of technology in education, our vision of where education will be in 2014 at Van Bokkelen, as well as potential issues such as cyber bullying.

In ET 680, The Role of Technology Leader I described the change in regards to technology at Van Bokkelen Elementary. I was able to apply this paper when meeting with the technology committee.

Artifact 1Parent Invitation to Technology Committee During the first technology committee meeting we discussed the important of stakeholders and as a team we discussed ways to get parents involved. Each teacher sent out invitations to parents as well as members of the community they felt would bring something to the table. From the parent invitation, I received a response from five parents but only two showed up to the November meeting. However, both parents proved to be excellent additions to the technology committee. They provided a parent perspective and understood the need for technology in schools as well as potential issues.
Lead in the development and evaluation of district technology planning and implementation. Artifact 1Technology Committee Meeting Minutes As a technology committee we were able to identify processes that work at our school as well as issues such as equity. As a committee we developed a process for borrowing the special education laptops.

In ET 680, The Role of Technology Leader I developed and evaluated Anne Arundel County's technology as well as my schools through my Technology Plan. I used my schools school improvement plan as well as the state standards as well as technology standards in planning for a plan. I discussed the major components that would need to be in the plan as well as how to implement the plan with an evaluation.

Artifact 1Project Proposal Through my proposal I identified experiences that I wanted to have through my internship. My internship was supervised by my principal and vice principal but also though my e-coach educational technology specialist, Debbie Ray.
Artifact 2E-Coach communication As an e-coach I am fortunate to have an educational technology specialist, Debbie Ray to go to for any assistance. She also communicates professional development opportunities for me to share with my staff. Along with herself and other specialists, they support the e-coachs professionally. One way was to submit a proposal to the spring e-coach workshop. I submitted my Global Education workshop but was not selected. However, it was a wonderful chance to share my talents with them. Artifact 3MICCA conference Through the MICCA conference I was able to understand components needed for instructional program development. This was a wonderful professional development opportunity as well as an organization to be a part of.
